ARCTIC WINTER

The bitter cold of winter finally made its way to our city. A city which rarely shows signs of the season, as in many parts of the world.

As my son and I drove along Loop 360 this afternoon, he was in awe of the large icicles hanging from the side of the hill. They were truly spectacular and we vowed to return to photograph them after our appointment.

An hour or so later, we stopped by the side of the highway and looked at the icicles up close. There were two other cars in front of us who also stopped to photograph this wonder of nature. Though it might not last long, we will still be able to experience an arctic winter for at least a few days.
