THE WAY

Friday. Finally. The weekend is nigh. A time for more planning. More research. Many hours to devote to learning something that interests me.

I had to get outside and away from the 50 or so open tabs on my computer. The travel ones. But first I had to drive my son to his father’s house so that he could join the rest of the family on the drive to San Antonio to see the solar eclipse tomorrow.

Did I also want to see it with my children? I wasn’t asked. Then again, I’m making my own plans to see other of nature’s wonders.

After dropping off my son, I changed into my leggings, sleeveless shirt, and put on my running shoes. To go walking. And thinking.

So many thoughts about what to do and what next to see. Life will eventually show me the way.
