STILL SEARCHING FOR THAT SILVER LINING

One before noon. One after school. And one as we sat down to dinner. Three email employment rejections in one day. I am used these by now though I wish I was not.

After two years I have come to expect nothing when such an email comes through. They all start in a similar manner. 'Thank you for your interest' followed by 'we wish you all the best in your career endeavors'. 'Endeavors' was at the end of all three emails today whilst 'success' was used by another company in yet another rejection last week.

At this rate I have as much chance at winning the lottery as I do at finding employment. Yet, I continue to search for that silver lining. It has to be somewhere.
