A NEW TEAM

The new soccer season started this afternoon. The late afternoon light was beautiful as the sun cast its long rays onto the field. As soon as the sun dipped below the horizon, the winds picked up and a chill swept through. Sage was excited to be on the field and was not bothered by the cooler weather.

He joined a new team this spring season with two or three teammates from his Brasil team from autumn. Cameroon is the name of his team and teal is the colour of his new jersey. With the exception of three kids, everyone on his team showed up wearing some combination of black and red today.

I was happy to see Sage excited today and look forward to being at his first game this Saturday.
