WHEN

When the day has left you devoid of energy and all you want is to be in the arms of a loved one but that one person is all the way across the world.

When you realise you simply cannot get done all which needs to be done in time for movers to move the heaviest of your belongings so you are left with needing to reschedule for the fourth time.

When everything is in such chaos that a decent meal is nowhere to be had and you have to resort to whatever requires no cooking which tonight meant a handful of pistachios.

When the frustration of not knowing when you will see that someone special becomes unbearable because you know it is not any time soon.

When you look at the clock and see the day is done and another is on its way. At that point you breathe a sigh of relief as you realise you made it one more day.
