Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in my everyday life. Home, travel, food, lifestyle.

THE RAZER STORE

THE RAZER STORE

‘Do you really want me to go?’, I could hear the reluctance in his voice.

‘Yes. I want you to go’. I knew he would rather have slept in.

School was out. There were no obligations to fulfill. Nowhere to go to at such an early hour. And on a Saturday.

So, we set off to get food at Central Market. Something which undoubtedly would take close to two hours. If we went nowhere else. But we did.

‘I thought we could go to The Domain afterwards’, I suggested. I saw him looking something up on his phone.

‘Oh, the Razer store is at The Domain! It’s by H&M’, he exclaimed. And now he was wide awake and glad to be up so early. He went on to explain that the store had recently opened. Then he texted his sisters to see if they would like to join us.

Cinnamon replied immediately, saying she would love to go but that she was already getting ready to go to the mall with her friends. Her sister never replied. So, we went on our own. After we went all the way back home to drop off the food and put in the fridge what couldn’t wait for our return.

The agreement was that we go to Zara first. To buy something for Sage. His deal was that I needed to buy something for myself. He chose a few shirts and a pair of comfy shorts. I chose an off-white dress. Something completely opposite for ‘an Emo’, as my son likes to refer to me. ‘You’re always wearing black!’, I hear from all the children.

The Razer store was a hop, skip, and a jump from Zara. My son ran across the street and impatiently waited for me to make my way across as well. Once in the store, he was in heaven. He showed me the keyboards and pointed out the one I got him for his birthday, along with the mouse. What he really wanted now was a headset.

Since the store had just opened up this location, they were offering a 20% discount. It seemed like a great deal for a belated birthday gift from his father. His father having asked Sage what he would like two weeks ago. After testing out some headsets, sitting in a few chairs, and looking at almost every item the store carried, it was time to go.

As we left the store, he texted his father to ask about taking him to the Razer store. They met up there, after my dropping him off with his father’s wife and older sister nearby, and I continued home. Later in the afternoon, Sage brought back the headset and cushioned keyboard rest. A happy boy indeed.
